
This is a graph showing the value of the U.S. dollar in relation to the Euro.
You may think, "Oh, it's only a few cents." But think of it this way:
When I traveled to Ireland for the first time in 2002, I could get 100 Euros for about 100 dollars.
This summer it took me about 136 U.S. dollars. Or something like that.
Now it would almost cost me $150 dollars if I drew out 100 Euros from an ATM off Grafton Street.
Goddammit. This really messes everything up. I mean everything.
Can I blame George Bush for this as well?
